Let’s clear it up: Thad doesn’t sharpen on-site. Instead, he follows a weekly route, stopping in at salons and barbershops to collect shears that need sharpening or a tune-up. He then sharpens them at his home workshop and returns them the very next day, ready for action.

Here’s what you can expect:

Step 1: Thad Stops In on Route Day

No appointment needed! If your salon is on the route that week, Thad will stop by during business hours. Just make sure any shears needing attention are clearly labeled and ready for pickup.

Step 2: Shears Go Home with Thad

Once collected, Thad brings the shears back to his professional setup. He carefully inspects each pair, sharpens them by hand, and checks tension and alignment. Whether they need a full sharpening or just a quick tune-up, he takes care of it with precision.

Step 3: Next-Day Return

Your freshly sharpened shears will be delivered back to your salon the following day. Most stylists are without their shears for less than 24 hours. It’s quick, reliable, and designed with your busy schedule in mind.

Need a Loaner?

While most stylists plan ahead, Thad carries a few loaner pairs just in case. Let him know in advance if you’ll need one for the day!
